The carpets were filthy! I would not let the kids walk barefoot in the room. The kids and I wore flip flops in the shower.
Was not given Wi-Fi password upon arrival, but check-in lady delivered it to my room as soon as I called to ask for it
Lady at check in with slightly strange. As she was writing down my personal information for checking in, I was glancing around the office. My eyes fell upon a piece of paper on her side of the desk with prices listed for rooms. I was looking at them from a distance out of curiosity. As soon as she noticed I was looking at them, she flipped over the paper immediately. Makes me wonder if I overpaid and why she did that. Pretty rude. She then immediately started trying to small talk as if nothing happened.
A bit overpriced for one king room. It should cost closer to 50 instead of mid sixties. A little bit of mold and staining in the shower and carpet, but okay for a hotel of this quality. Sink leaks a little bit as well. Fridge not cleaned out very well. However, bed sheets are clean.
The employees were nice.
He said the smell was horrible.
By the time we got home to our house our poor son was having sinus problems from the bad smell and air in the room.
We stayed 2 nights and the manager PM and Shelly went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home during a tough situation. PM drove me to town to get my family dinner and was helpful in more ways than I can even relate in this review.
He had to wipe down all surfaces and the toilet with disinfectant wipes!
It's a shame! This is really a great location and with just a few upgrades this could be a really great property!
The towels and the bed linens were the only clean thing about the room.
Thank goodness my husband got there a day before I did!
We had car trouble in Colorado Bend State Park and our vehicle was towed to an auto repair shop in San Saba, TX. The state police helped us find this motel that would take our dog.
Honestly, this Motel should be condemned. While the lady in the office was very nice and very polite the building and rooms really should be condemned. The first room we were assigned to had no TV, no small refrigerator, no towels, horribly stained and ripped carpets, buckling floor. I asked to be moved. I was given the choice of 3 different rooms which I was able to see myself. Our next room was an "improvement" over the first but let me be clear, that's not saying much. My suggestion is to sleep in your car before staying here. The owners are simply not putting any money into this place to keep it livable.
We went next door to inlaws room and another room down to cousin's room. Both smelled HEAVILY of cigarette smoke. So much I wanted to puke!
We came to town for our family reunion. We stayed here because the inlaws have stayed here several times the last few years when they come to the reunion.
Shelly was just as helpful to my wife. We could not hoped for anything like the hospitality we received at the Executive Inn in San Saba, TX. They made a difficult time for my family a good expereince.
There is not much to choose from in San Saba.
Absolutely the worst place in the history of motels. Just plain garbage, no ac and service is just detrimental. Please do not stay in this place!!
Thank you PM and Shelly!!!!! 5 Stars
We will not stay here again. :-(
We went to the local grocery store and bought a Glade air freshener and also sprinkled carpet fresh on the floors.
