Over PRICED TINY ROOMS DO PROVIDE CHANGE OF TOWELS ON A DAILY BASIS PLUS CLEAN ROOMS ONLY ONCE A WEEK
2 days later I got a note on the door that they did not allow pets. I called the number in the note. The owner said she needed my credit card information and address. I asked why. She stated that she lost all of my information and needed it again, but I could finish my week and stay until Saturday ( I had paid until Wednesday). She stated that I needed to pay a pet fee, but the price varied every time she mentioned it. She then said she already rented my room to someone else, then admitted she hadn't.
Old fashion, in a cosy way, bit very clean and simple. Good value. $55
Not very clean and in desperate need of new carpet. Older model tube tvs. Pros...the suite has a full kitchen.
The long and short of this is that she knew I was in town to work on a pipeline and was trying to extort money. This was coupled with the fact that she was irresponsible with my credit card information. I left right then.
I checked in, the manager was not on site. They mad no mention of pets, and a pet policy was not posted. They quoted me a weekly rate for a room. The owner then stated that the room was not available and upsold me to a room at twice the cost. I gave my credit card info, then got a code to the room. Never signed a thing, never saw anyone.
The room was ok, but not worth the money she was trying to charge.
